To make monetary grants or loans to nurses or midwives currently or previously employed at CCDHB (or from other region at at the elected officers discretion). The purpose of the grants are to assist individuals who could benefit from financial assistance due to unforseen circumstances.

Our society consists of a small group of elected officers and other members who meet when an application has been made and decide if it meets the Society's criteria. The Society operates only within the Wellington Region. Annual General Meetings and Special meetings are usually held in the hospital grounds but the majority of applications are now discussed via email, to allow for faster decision making and action.
