Charitable Purpose

The Islamic Shia Association of Wellington is established exclusively for charitable purposes with the aim of developing a general understanding of Islam, particularly the Shia Muslim sect and to educate and assist Muslims in New Zealand to positively contribute and integrate into the New Zealand society and collaborate activities and projects with all other Islamic societies. It also aims to assist new immigrants belonging to the Muslim faith within New Zealand.
