Charitable Purpose

Our purpose is to work as an external NFP group alongside Parkinsons NZ staff in providing solutions & services to address trauma & relieve poverty within the Parkinsons community. Our most popular programme "Counterpunch Parkinsons" is non-contact boxing-based exercise specifically designed for people living with Parkinsons to promote purposeful movement, build strength in arms & legs, correct posture, increase energy & social interaction as we fight back against Parkinsons disease together.

Entity Structure

Our head office is based in Rotorua and we operate across the Bay of Plenty District and alongside our National office. Our trust deed states that we must have between 3-7 Trustees. The Board will comprise of no less than three (3) Trustees and no more than seven (7) Trustees who may appoint Board and Committee members at any time; We currently have Trustees that constitute our Governance Board.
