Purpose & Structure


Charitable Purpose

Our mission is to end stigma and raise awareness surrounding eating disorders. We want to provide support, facilities and programmes for families and those living with eating disorders. We will focus on Whanau/ Family care, holistic wellbeing and strong support networks in the community. We want to incorporate a peer support network throughout NZ and Australia and support groups in rural areas where support is not always accessible. Creating accessibility for everyone. Improving overall accessibility of eating disorder healthcare and more education surrounding this.

Those living with eating disorders and families caring for those living with eating disorders and anyone directly affected by this mental illness.

Entity Structure

We aim to work NZ and Australia wide specifically focusing on areas in immediate need such as the remote areas that find care difficult to access for a scope of reasons. Family support networks will be strengthened with Support and Peer Support Groups. Community groups and information evenings will be held around NZ & Australia. Families will be promoted as their child's most important allies in recovery. Ongoing Education will be provided to Families and those recovering from eating disorders.
