Charitable Purpose

The Trust has always been driven by a clear vision; to restore the beauty of Raahui Pookeka whare by whare, whaanau by whaanau, street by street with an aim to deliver holistic services to our haapori while contributing sustainable value for our wider iwi.

Entity Structure

• An uprising of community concerns and years of community resistance, consultation and finally negotiation with Genesis led to a Relationship Agreement between 6 Marae, a social and health service provider. • In 2005 a Principle Based Review was undertaken to the activities of the Huntly Power Station to assess the impacts on Raahui Pookeka. • The review established a Relationship Agreement signed in 2010 • The Agreement established a relationship fund, to be governed by Community and Marae
