Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To develop a national organisation that will work in conjunction with Parihaka, the Ministry of Education and other entities to strengthen the dissemination of the kaupapa of Parihaka using the legacy of Tohu Kakahi and te Whiti o Rongomai as its focus. In particular advance the Crown process to create a Parihaka National Day, prepare educational material for publication for NZ Schools Universities and general public. Also align with other peace and reconciliation networks in NZ.
