The Charitable Trust was set up to pay an income in perpetuity to the Malaghan Institute and the Neuromuscular Research Foundation (AKA: Muscular Dystrophy Association) for the purposes of research into understanding and treating neuro-muscular conditions, with particular emphasis into research into spinal muscular atrophy and muscular dystrophy.
