To promote charitable purposes within New Zealand for the advancement of education through promoting, carrying out and funding seminars, public lectures, workshops, exhibitions and forums in relation to the history of gardens and be beneficial to the community with emphasis on providing the community with information about the history of gardens; development of gardens in the community; research and development of specialist gardens within the Hamilton Gardens.
