Purpose & Structure
Charitable Purpose
The purpose of the Trust will be to provide support to the Tonga community in New Zealand and to deliver pastoral care. Specifically, the priorities of the Trust are as follows:
To provide pastoral care;
To support the youth in their spiritual, cultural, physical and emotional wellbeing;
To deliver support and guidance;
Provide development programmes for community members;
To collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders on community development support for members; and

Entity Structure
We have the office based in Onehunga, Auckland. Our trust deed states that we must have between three and seven Trustees. We currently have seven Trustees that constitute our governance board, including three executive positions: chair, treasurer, and secretary. We are affiliated with National Consortium of Tonga Organisation NZ (NCTO NZ), which provides guidance and support but does not control or in any way direct our activities.
