Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The purpose of the Trust is to organise and promote a regular festival to be held in Wellington that: 1. celebrates, and builds and sustains public knowledge and understanding of, Japanese culture; 2. contributes to Wellington's and New Zealand's relationship with Sakai and Japan; and 3. contributes to the vibrancy of Wellington by providing an event that engages the community.
