Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To advance lifelong literacy learning in the Tai Tokerau region The purposes of the association shall be: a) to encourage and actively promote the enjoyment of literacy b) to support literacy learning for students, teachers, and whanau and community organisations. c) to provide and subsidise continuing literacy education programmes for teachers d) to provide and promote a range of meetings/workshops on literacy e) to provide articles, research, and reviews for Literacy Forum, published by NZLA.
