Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Our purpose is to bring digital health solutions to rural areas of South Africa in order to lower maternal and infant mortality rates as well as educate girls and women about sexual & womens health to reduce HIV rates. We will accomplish this by implementing smart devices (tablets, iPads, etc) equiped with a telemedicine platform into rural communities and providing access to an educational platform for self-care.

Entity Structure

We have a head office based in Auckland, with board directors in New Zealand, Australia and South Africa. Our trust deed states we must have between five and ten trustees and we currently have five. We are affiliated with the telemedicine platform Welio and a number of other digital health companies, pharmaceutical companies and womens health organisations all of which have no control in our operations, but rather provide support and guidance where needed.
