Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The full charitable purposes of the NZPSC are set out in Clause 4 of our trust deed. Essentially our purpose is to promote product stewardship in New Zealand to reduce waste and environmental harm, contribute to the body of knowledge and research about product stewardship in this country, and support and facilitate community awareness and advocacy about product stewardship.

Entity Structure

The NZPSC has a Board of Trustees with a Chairperson and Trustees. Trustees are appointed as per the trust deed. Chairperson is elected annually at annual meeting of the Board of Trustees. Operations are carried out by a Steering Committee, overseen by a Coordinator.
