Charitable Purpose

To foster, promote, educate and increase the knowledge and experiences of the public as to horticulture, floriculture, landscape construction, landscape design and cuisine. To convene a regular occuring flower and garden show event providing various opportunities for communities to participate, promoting and encouraging the physical and mental benefits of horticulture and involvement in their local environments across all cultures, genders and age groups in New Zealand.

Entity Structure

Our trust deed states that we must have a minimum of three (3) Trustees and a maximum number of five (5) Trustees, with no limitation on the number of terms a Trustee can serve - holding office for two (2) years at which they shall retire or be reappointed. We currently have five (5) Trustees that constitute our governance board, including three executive positions: chairman, treasurer and secretary.
