Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

We started our organisation to help people/families in need of clothing, food and other essential items. We also work with real estate agents to help house low-income people/family. one of our communication tools is our members post on our Facebook page, donate or ask for essential needs and items, our strike rule NO tobacco or Alcohol. Everything on our page is free, and we have made a change to our food relief, we no longer carry emergency food as it can date, so we have started to keep a few food voucher at hand for those who are desperate, and at our own cost deliver a lot of these donated items and vouchers to these people in the Manawatu.

Our organisation has 4 admins, 3 moderators made up from our members. The admin and moderators oversees the daily operation of the facebook page, we make sure everything posted is polite and respectful to other members, as all members can gift or re-gift, ask for help and offer to help members. Our page could be described as a hub for people in need.
