Charitable Purpose

The objects of the Trust include: To promote and support all aspects of Maori culture for the social and cultural benefit and development of the Beneficiaries. Events may include: i. Holiday programmes ii. Wananga for Whakapapa, Te Reo Maori, Mau-rakau, Waka Ama, Waiata Tawhito, Rongoa iii. Religious events iv. Kapa Haka events v. Festivals To carry out such activities which promote educational advancement within the community; including literacy and numeracy development and to make education grants available to Beneficiaries; To provide support and assistance to the Beneficiaries in respect of housing and home insulation, heating and water quality, health-care, aged-care and relief from sickness or disability; To make grants or loans towards construction, establishment, management, maintenance, repair, and running of Rereahu Marae and Marae buildings for the cultural and social benefits of the Beneficiaries; To assist with the management and development of the Rereahu Marae where appr
