The church is one of several churches affiliated to the Uniting Congregations of Aotearoa NZ. It is guided by the provisions of the Procedures for Cooperative Ventures of the Uniting Congregations 2012. However the church is autonomous and governance is the responsibility of a church council, which is elected by members.
