Charitable Purpose

The main Charitable Purpose of our Trust is the advancement of religion, to fulfill the Christian Mission Fellowship visionary statement, and that is, to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ and proclaim His Gospel, to train and to encourage believers to develop a loving and caring relationship among themselves and put world missions as their priority”. Our subsidiary charitable purpose is to actively participate in activities that would benefit our community in Wellington and the wider Wairarapa region.

Entity Structure

The entity is a Registered Charitable Trust that is incorporated under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957 on 29 July 2016, and registered as a Charitable Trust under the Charities Act 2005 in May 2017. It is governed by a Board of Trustees that reports to the Annual General Meeting. It runs the Christian Mission Fellowship Wellington church, with a full time church Pastor, who is assisted by Volunteers . The ultimate decision making authority for the Trust is the Board of Trustees.
