Charitable Purpose

HopeWalk Suicide Prevention Trust exists to reduce the high suicide statistics in New Zealand and beyond through its five aims (listed) so individuals, families and communities can be made resilient. (1) Reseach (2) Policy (3) Community Awareness (4) Education (5) Support In doing unifying with other like-minded people and groups to strengthen each other by linking together as we turn the tide and save lives. We are stronger together.

Entity Structure

HopeWalk Suicide Prevention Trust is governed by a Board of Trustees who will hold at least four (4) meetings in every year and one of these meetings will be the Annual General Meeting (AGM), which is to be held not more than 15 months following the previous AGM. (1) A CHAIRPERSON; (2) A SECRETARY; (3) A TREASURER. The BOT will govern the project team who will facilitate the day to day running of all HopeWalk affiliated projects, event's and community initiatives.
