Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Indigenous empowerment through enterprise and technology. Promotion of Business incubation and the encouragement of economic development within the Tairawhiti Region. Industry Training, recruitment and collaboration with educational institutions for the promotion of entrepreneurship and employment within the Tairawhiti Region. Supporting community innovation within the Tairawhiti Region including: digital technology development, grassroots entrepreneurship, community social events, including but not limited to arts and crafts, functions, kaumatua music variety club, training classes, code club for kids and other community based initiatives. To carry out such other charitable objects within New Zealand as the Board shall determine from time to time. Restoring and preserving the Tolaga Bay Inn for our next generations. Utilising the Inn as a vehicle for community development and social well being intitiatives.
