Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The purpose of the Trust will be to establish and operate classes in Wellington and Manawatu region for the education of people of all ethnic groups in Chinese language and culture. Initially the Trust will: 3.1 Operate weekend classes in Kapiti for youth people and adults to learn Chinese language and culture; 3.2 Provide assistance to local governments, community, public school(s) in activities relevant to Chinese culture and language; and provide other support and assistance.

We currently have five Trustees that constitute our governance board, including three executive positions: chairperson, treasurer and secretary. We are located in Kapiti and providing the opportunity to the Kapiti people.
