Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To facilitate and provide support for families and persons bereaved by suicide and liaise with, enable and support communities within New Zealand to setup and run support groups for persons affected by suicide. We also aim to empower communities and individuals and raise public awareness of suicide in the Hawkes Bay and elsewhere in New Zealand and assist in enhancing the positive wellbeing of the individual within communities.

We are based in the Hawkes Bay. Our trust deed states that we must have between three and 10 trustees, we currently have six trustees that constitute our governance board.
