Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Whare Hauora's mission is to measure the of New Zealanders, in order to raise their quality of life and to relieve poverty. We want to empower those that especially do not have power over their living conditions and educate residents of New Zealand housing to create a healthier living environment. We will provide data on the conditions New Zealanders live in for the use of the public and wider public interest.

Entity Structure

We have a governance board that will provide guidance and structure for our mostly virtual team. We have three Trustees that will make up the governance board, as per the trust deed this is the minimum number of Trustees and the maximum number is six. We have elected a chair, treasurer and have assigned out secretary duties.
