Charitable Purpose

Fostering a love of reading, writing and storytelling in young children through enriched environments and regular social engagement with stories, rhymes, poems, plays and songs. Promoting the awareness of early literacy development in children birth through eight years old.

R is for Reading is based in the Bay of Plenty and offers advice, information, and advocacy nationwide and in Australia. Currently there are three Trustees that constitute our governance board.
