Charitable Purpose

At Whangamatā Youth Trust, we support young people at whatever stage they are at, offering consistent care, real connection, fun activities and practical opportunities for growth. One-on-One Mentoring: mentoring is the core of our work. We provide one-on-one mentoring for young people who need some extra support in their lives. Whether they’re facing bullying, struggling at school, dealing with family challenges, navigating mental health, or just needing someone to talk to, we’re there. Group Sessions: we run small group sessions that focus on self-worth, resilience, identity, goal-setting, and life skills, building confidence and connection. Employment & Pathways Support: we help school leavers and young adults with CVs, job readiness, training opportunities, and navigating next steps into work or study. After-School Drop-In. Youth Group Camps and Trips
