The Trust's principal activity is for the provision of an annual scholarship award to assist an individual living in the district of Te Puke with his or her first year of tertiary education.

Entity Structure

The Trust was established to commemorate the services rendered to the Te Puke District by the late Dr Leonard Randell. The trustees are appointed from representatives of various community groups including the Te Puke Community Board, the Te Puke Board of Federated Farmers, the Te Puke Rotary Club, the Board of Te Puke High School and local iwi. The day to day administration of the trust has been entrusted to the democracy division of the Western Bay of Plenty District Council.
