Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To preach the Word of God and tell people about Jesus Christ. To build the Church as a community base, and the central point away from our homeland Tokelau, to be used for both religious and social gatherings and activities. To support the wider Tokelau community here in Auckland as well as other Tokelau communities throughout Aotearoa, including families arriving from Tokelau, and other parts of the world, in all charitable services and activities. To support members in all means of improving their lives both spiritual and temporal. Through all of our organized activities, members are assisting each other in a variety of charitable ways that will benefit all.

Entity Structure

The Trust's Chairman will always be our Church Minister and Trustees are the inducted Deacons and Lay Preachers of the Church. Positions of Secretary and Treasurer are elected by Church members every three years. The Trust has one paid employee which is the Minister, paid through members' donation. All other services are voluntarily offered.
