Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The purposes of the Trust are: 1 To encourage school students to participate and perform instrumental and vocal music in public in Porirua 2 To encourage community involvement and enjoyment of music through our young people 3 To run music festivals, including music competitions for young people and the public

Entity Structure

There are three trustees on the Board with provision for up to five trustees, plus two committee members. Volunteers are recruited as required for assistance at the annual festival held over Queen's Birthday weekend.
