Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The first official project of the Serenity Foundation is Gandhi Nivas (Gandhi - man of peace, Nivas - home) an early intervention program/ project for Family Violence, working with the perpetrators who have been served with Police Safety Orders to break the cycle of violence, providing them with housing, counselling and on-going support. Funds and Support for Trust Purposes: raising, receiving and/or generating funds and any other form of support from various sources (and raising the profile of the Trust and its purposes and activities in order to achieve that objective), and using, applying or distributing such funds and other forms of support to advance any one or more Charitable Purposes. Working Together with Others: working together with any other governmental, community, business or other organisation or group in order to advance any one or more Charitable Purposes
