Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

First Object: to restore the natural environment along the Waitahanui River margins through conservation management activities including control of both animal and plant pests and re-vegetation, ; Second Object: to provide organised community activities for the youth of Waitahanui with a focus on restoring and maintaining the Waitahanui River margins with the aim of developing skills and learning and providing the public benefit of an ecologically and environmentally sound environment in which to enjoy recreational activities; Third Object: to provide educational opportunities by the development of the character of the youth of Waitahanui and Taupo District and through members of the public observing the methods and practices of the conservation work to be carried out;
