Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The HEART Programme is unique to the Foundation. It teaches children of all ages to interact safely with horses. The equine relationship exposes them to the love, trust, respect, and compassion inherent in the herd dynamics and vital to the herd's survival. Those very qualities are essential to successful human relationships, especially with parents and friends. Most humans need at least 18 years of healthy parenting to learn the appropriate skills, which are not taught in schools, cannot be bought, and are not usually learned from books. Horses can heal our emotional wounds. They model the very qualities essential to meaningful and satisfying human relationships.
