Charitable Purpose

a) to foster and encourage high quality live dramatic performance in New Zealand; (b) to provide for the creation, promotion, fostering and encouragement of artistic expression and the artistic appreciation of members of the public in general, through the performing arts; (c) to provide for the practical education and experience, maintenance, assistance and funding, through applications for grants and sponsorships, of aspiring actors, designers, theatre directors, technicians and others, through the presentation of performances to the public; (d) to present high quality dramatic performances, and provide classes and workshops for the professional development of teachers, education of youth and artistic development of emerging artists; (e) to develop the character of young people by nurturing, facilitating and assisting them to aspire to roles and careers in the performing arts;

Trust Structure: Our Trust Deed states that we must have between two and eight Trustees. We currently have six Trustees that constitute our governance board, including two executive officer positions: chairperson/ treasurer and secretary.
