Charitable Purpose

The church is a gathering of Pacific Christians who believe they are called by God to work with others making Jesus Christ known within Tamaki and the greater Auckland region: teaching and nurturing people in Christian faith, Loving service responding to human need, Proclaiming the gospel, Seeking to transform society, Caring for God’s creation through the use of our Pacific cultural practices and languages.

Entity Structure

The church as an autonomous entity is governed by the Tamaki PIPC Parish Council with elections to be held yearly. It is a Member of the Pacific Presbytery and is one of 273 churches affiliated to the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand (PCANZ). It is guided by the provisions of the PCANZ Book of Order.
