Charitable Purpose

Tawa Samoan Assembly of God Trust Board is a not-for-profit church operating to provide a cultural and spiritual purpose for the benefit of the community. To provide religious education such as Sunday school and religious programs for the youth and other members of the Assembly. The organization is established to be a charity whose purpose is to advance spirituality by leading a congregation for worship and other traditional and religious activities and conducting religious ceremonies (i.e. baptism, weddings, funerals, and cultural services and activities in the Samoan language mainly and in English.

Entity Structure

Tawa Samoan Assembly of God is a charitable trust under the guidance of the board of trustees. The board and members of the church both have equal responsibilities and sovereignty for the operation of its affairs. There is no time frame for board meetings but they meet three times during the year or in a case of emergency. The board is responsible for the maintenance of its resources and assets and raising funds for activities. Boards required to abide by its bylaws according to its constitution
