Charitable Purpose

"The purposes of the Trust are as follows: 1Promoting and broadcasting music composed and performed by Twizel residents. 2To establish and promote a community broadcasting station providing community, educational, historical, archival and access programmes. 3 Providing information of benefit to Twizel residence and visitors in matters of health, social and educational opportunities, legal advice and access programmes 4 To provide access to broadcasting facilities for Twizel community groups, educational institutions, organisations, agencies and individuals. 5 To provide alternative programmes of a nature not normally available from commercial broadcasting outlets – Twizel residents have very limited access to other broadcasting stations. 6 To broadcast marine safety information for the seven lakes monitored by the Twizel Coast Guard. 7 To encourage and give priority to men, women, children, disabled, ethnic minority and special interest community groups and access to broadcast.
