The Whalan Lodge Trust has been set up for the benefit of the people of the Waitaki and Hakataramea Valleys and Twizel and the MacKenzie Basin or in other such North Otago areas as the Trustees may recognise the need for funding for the purpose of holding and administering for health and related purposes for the advancement of education, relief of poverty or for the benefit of the community.
