Charitable Purpose

Inspiring young people to be developers, storytellers, and creators of digital tools, resources, and climate action solutions. At the heart of Digital Natives Academy are programmes, events, expos, workshops, and wānanga that spark curiosity, reignite a love of learning and build confidence in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, maths). Rangatahi explore coding, game development, artificial intelligence, 2D/3D animation, esports, robotics, and digital storytelling, all while connecting these skills to real-world challenges. Together, they develop solutions for climate change, strengthen resilience, and embody kaitiakitanga as guardians of our shared future. By weaving kaupapa Māori values with creative technology, DNA equips young people not only to pursue opportunities in science and tech, but to stand as innovators and leaders building a sustainable, climate-resilient future.
