Charitable Purpose

Financial mentoring and MoneyMates peer-led group support for clients experiencing financial hardship, with the aim of enabling them to become more financially capable, gain control over their financial lives and make long-term change. We are also working with whanau who are having difficulty sustaining their tenancy, we advocate for those whanau who need someone to help communicate and negotiate positive outcomes.

Entity Structure

We are an Incorporated Society. We have a Board consisting of a chairperson and Committee of at least four members elected at the AGM. Day to day operation and MoneyMates program is subcontracted to Takiri Mai Te Ata (TMTA), who provides a Manager and Financial Mentors to deliver services and support whānau.
