Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

thinkScience aims to raise New Zealanders’ appreciation and understanding of science, to excite and interest, to nurture deeper engagement with science. thinkScience will encourage STEM-interested young people to consider potential science-related study and careers. thinkScience will engage with those who may not have thought they were interested in science or understanding how it impacts their lives. thinkScience works collaboratively with the Auckland Arts Festival, the arts festival.

thinkScience is a lean organisation that is essentially operated at a voluntary level by the trustees and which to date contracts to the Auckland Arts Festival to enable it to co-produce events.
