Charitable Purpose

The Ensemble is to be a semi-professional or professional string orchestra, chamber orchestra or symphony orchestra created for the high quality performance of music of a European classical, New Zealand classical or Maori classicized tradition. Our aim is to promote the performance of live music and encourage audiences to appreciate the value of such music in the community and in a wide cultural context.
