Charitable Purpose
The main purpose of Autism Wairarapa Charitable Trust is to provide Wairarapa-based skilled support, resources and information about Autism Spectrum Disorder and associated conditions, to those with these conditions, their whanau/family, caregivers and professionals working with them.

Entity Structure
Trust Sructure: Our Trust Deed states that we must have a minimum of FIVE Trustees and no greater than SEVEN. Two Trustees rotate every two years. We currently have FIVE Trustees that constitute our governance board, including three executive officer positions: Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary. Trustees/governance members may lead sub-committees as the Board requires.
Operational Structure: Our operations are managed by the Trust Board and delivered by paid part-time Support Coordinator(s).
