Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To help all people with ME/CFS* live their most fulfilling life. *Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, commonly known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Includes related conditions and carers / relatives of those with ME/CFS.

Entity Structure

Governance: Members of ME Support elect a Board which includes a President, Vice President and up to 10 other Board Members. The board appoints a Treasurer and Secretary. Management: The Board employs two part-time Client Support Coordinators for 40 hours per week, contracts a Manager for 10 hours a week, a Professional Supervisor for four hours per month, an Administrator for six hours per week and two fundraisers for 20 hours per month. As at 30 June 2023 there are around 20 volunteers.
