S+ART provides opportunities to combine science, technology and art to develop local, national and international connections and to build economic and social wealth and diversity through creative endeavour. Through its programmes and activities, S+ART: provides opportunities for artists – emerging and established, young and old - to explore different avenues by drawing on scientific and technological disciplines; enables scientists and technicians to work collaboratively with the artistic community to unleash creative thinking in innovative ways; and provides additional learning and creative opportunities for young people and the wider community.
