Charitable Purpose

To promote and foster amateur sport, recreation and leisure activities as a way of developing healthy lifestyles and living for the Te Awanui Community and the wider Bay of Plenty area. Providing facilities for sports, education, recreation and supporting local charitable organisations

Entity Structure

MIRC is a membership based organisation. The Committee is elected from members and is responsible for furthering MIRC's charitable purposes. We are accountable to all members, whanau and the Te Awanui Community. Staff and volunteers are responsible for bar trading operations. Any profit is used for operating expenses and furthering our charitable purposes and to maintain the facilities.
