Charitable Purpose

The Ed. Collective Trust Board is committed, in attaining its mission and purposes to: Fostering a real-world, self-sustaining, learning community in New Zealand with the intention of sharing, creating and validating knowledge, experience and skills to better equip people for work, enterprise and contributing to the world; Respecting and implementing the dual heritage of the partners of Te Tirito o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi); Respecting the cultural diversity of people and encourage people from all nationalities to utilise the Trust's facilities and services; Inspiring and enabling students to reach their full potential; Working co-operatively with others in the youth development area; Maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity; Keeping students at the centre of all activities and operations.

The Trust is governed by a board of trustees; subsequent trustees will be appointed from time to time by the Board for a term of three years, subject to their being at all times a minimum of three trustees and a maximum of seven trustees. Trustees are eligible for re- appointment upon expiration of their office. EdCollective Limited ("the company") was incorporated on 16 August 2013 under the Companies Act 1993 and is jointly owned by the trustees of the Trust.
