Charitable Purpose

We are advancing, promoting, developing and resourcing lifestyle applications and the philosophy of Yoga as a credible health practice for the welfare and benefit of all peoples of New Zealand. Disseminating therapeutic programmes in conjunction with the mainstream medical model. Promoting public health to all New Zealanders, but with emphasis on lower socio0economic communitites, with the focus on healthy lifestyles and social well-being empowering individual and collective choices for those seeking to improve their health. Teaching yoga as a tool in preventative healthcare. Raising public awareness of the benefits of Yoga as in ensuring long-term health and in the promotion of positive aging. Promoting and teaching Yoga as a vehicle to manage stress and encourage better mental health. Supporting initiatives promoted by the New Zealand Health Strategy.
