Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Korean Helpline provides information and counselling services by telephone, email, and in person if necessary. The purpose of Korean Helpline is to support Korean residents who have difficulties in accessing main stream organisations by providing information and referring to appropriate facilities or specialists if needed. We also provide services for elderly on a regular or irregular basis so that they feel safe and comfortable to live as migrants.

Entity Structure

Korean Helpline consists of a 4 committee and one paid coordinator, and 10 volunteers in total. We hold committee meeting once a month and discuss to improve our services and operation system. The committee members make a decision regarding grants and events. There is also volunteer members' educational meeting once a month. Operating hours of Korean Helpline are 10 am to 3 pm (Mon-Fri).
