Entity Structure

NECT comprises a board of five trustees who oversee the governance of NECT. Four trustees are appointed by the Whangarei District Council and one by the Northland Regional Council. Northland Regional council notified the Trust that they no longer wished to appoint a trustee from 30 June 2020, however the Trust Deed has not yet been amended by NECT and the fifth Trustee position remains vacant.
