Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Shekinah Tabernacle has been established to advance the Christian religion, primarily in the Wellington region but also nationally and internationally by practising the teaching all of the Holy Bible as determined by the church governance. The church will encourage and direct any willing person into a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and to be filled with the Spirit of God, to the wellbeing and saving of the individual and the living out of the attributes of the life of God being namely, love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance, to the benefit of the local community and society in general.
