The purpose of the Trust
To contribute to the religious, spiritual and cultural development of the Sikhs in Tauranga and surrounding areas.
To liaise and co-operate with other New Zealand Sikh societies to promote the Sikh faith throughout New Zealand.
To provide and establish a link between the New Zealand Sikh Societies and other religious Sikh Societies throughout the world so that information on matters of common interest may be exchanged and fraternal feelings fostered.
To carry out the objectives of the Trust according to the principles as set out in the Marayda Akal Takhat Sahib.
